LEE BEASLEY – MANAGING DIRECTOR

Lee M Beasley is an experienced media banker with almost 20 years extensive experience of providing senior debt finance to the media sector around Asia together with funding of both local and worldwide independent film and television projects.

Lee was born and educated in London and in 1986 joined the Royal Bank of Scotland in the UK where he enjoyed almost 20 years service, the last 12 of which were focused on the worldwide media sector. During this time, the Bank became one of the leading players in the European Independent Entertainment Sector.

In 2006, Lee joined Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong as Head, Media and Entertainment and during his time there, the Bank financed the major Asian productions “Curse of the Golden Flower” and John Woo’s epic production “The Battle of Red Cliff”. The Bank was also the world’s single largest financier of the Australian Producer Offset.

Lee is a regular speaker at industry events and attends all of the key film and television markets around the world. During his career, Lee has provided funding for over 200 film and television projects and built a solid network of key industry contacts around the globe. Projects financed range from straightforward local small/medium sized films to multi million, multi territory, multi-party co-productions.

KARINNE BEHR – US REPRESENTATIVE FOR INTERNATIONAL SALES AND ACQUISITIONS

Karinne Behr launched her consulting firm Finance in Motion in February 2008 and is based in Los Angeles .  She has been in film distribution for over 22 years, and her expertise is not only in foreign sales but also film financing and film production.  Karinne has been a senior executive for some premiere independent film companies during her career most recently at Capitol films and Bauer Martinez Studios.

She has executive produced the following films: “The Flock” starring Richard Gere and Claire Dane, “I Could Never be your Woman” starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Paul Rudd, “Land of the Blind” with Ralph Fiennes and Donald Sutherland and the critically acclaimed “Modigliani” starring Andy Garcia.

 

 

REY GIARMON – SALES EXECUTIVE

Rey is a relative newcomer to the film industry having originally graduated with a Masters in International Business and Marketing from IPAG École Supérieure de Commerce et de Gestion in Paris, France. Rey, fluent in French, English, Spanish, and Italian can also communicate well in Hebrew and Portuguese as a result of having travelled the world extensively.  Rey has spent the past few years directing operations within the hospitality industry. His love of films brings him to Saradan where he assists on both the sales and production side of our business. Indeed, he spent 3 months in Russia earlier this year working on the production of  Saradan’s upcoming feature  “Viktor”
